INDIAN NAVY Invites Online Application From Unmarried Male Indian Citizen for Recruitment of MR / NMR of STEWARD, COOK AND TOPASS (SANITARY HYGIENIST), For BATCH 01/2017. Applicant required age should be between 17 to 21 years as on 01st April 2017 ( candidates should be born between 01/04/1996 and 31/03/2000, both dates inclusive). Applicant educational Qualification should be Matric (10th Passed) for COOK & Steward or Class VI (6th Standard) for Topass Post. Candidates required to Register Online Application between 6th June 2016 to 19th June 2016. The last date for receipt of application in 27 June 2016 (For candidates of North East, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep & Minicoy island last date of receipt of application is 4th July 2016. Call Up Letters or Admit Card for eligible short listed candidates will be posted, indicating date, time and place for recruitment tests , which are scheduled during September / October 2016. Age limit :
Candidates required age should be between 17 to 21 years as on 01 April 2017 (born between 01.04.1996 and 31.03.2000). For more of updates follow official Advertisement carefully.
Educational Qualification :
Cook (MR) - They should be Class 10th Passed. They would be required to prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organization.
Steward (MR) - They should be Class 10th Passed. They would be required to serve food in the officers messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores,prepartion of menu.
Topass (NMR) - They should be passed Class 6th Standard qualified. They will be required to maintain hygiene in wash rooms and other areas.
Physical Standards:
The candidates should be physical fit for enrollment into India Navy. This capability is tested at the examination venue on qualifying in written examination and is termed as Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory. PFT will consist of 1.6 KM run which is to be complete in 7 Minutes, 20 Squats (Utthak Baithak) and 10 Push Ups.

Candidates required to apply through online in official portal of Indian navy - www.joinindiannavy.gov.in or www.nausena-bharati.nic.in from 6th June 2016. Applicant required to submit hard copy of application form through Post to the Address of - POST BOX NO. 2, LODHI ROAD POST OFFICE, NEW DELHI- 110003 (For Cook & Steward Post) or POST BOX NO. 5270, CHANAKYAPURI POST OFFICE, NEW DELHI- 110021 (For Topass). Details of application process will be available after 6th June.
