Presidency University MA in Performing Arts (MPA) Course Admission Rules & Regulation 2016

Presidency University launches M.A in Preforming Arts (MPA). This programme will focus on the historical, geographical, Social and Cultural aspects of different performing arts.

Eligibility Criteria :
Successful completion of Graduation Degree from any recognized University with at least 65% marks in Honours from any Stream of B.A / B.Sc / B.Com.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing fro the final B.A (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons.) Final examination at the time of admission , but do not have their final results, may seek provisional admission. If selected they must submit their final mark sheet by 31st August, demonstration that they fulfill the minimum condition of eligibility, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Candidates may apply online and Register for MPA-2016 before publication of their B.A (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons.) / B.Com (Hons.) Result.

Seat Distribution :
Total 15 Seats available for Presidency University MPA-2016 Admission, Seat reserved for General candidates (8 Seats), SC candidates (3 seats), ST candidates (1 seats), OBC A candidates (2 seats), ONC B candidates (1 seats).
The admission of SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B candidates will be follow the reservation policies of West Bengal State Higher Secondary Education Institution (Reservation Admission) Act, 2013 and West Bengal State Higher Education Institution (Reservation in Admission) Rules 2014.

  6. Applicant Form is correctly & Complete filled up With all required DEtails.
  7. Upload Scanning Signature &Photograph. (Photograph & Signature ) size not more 80 Kb.
  8. Verify & Click on Save.
  9. A New Page will be open.
  10. Enter Password, Email Address & Captcha Code.
  11. Final Submit.
  12. Candidates who applied successful will have to pay application fee through the State Bank E-Collect Portal of Rs.350/ with bank Charges.
  13. Take a print out copy of Application Form.
