Course of :
M.Sc (Agriculture) - Total number of 15 Seats of Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Entomology, Agriculture Statistics, Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Seed Science and technology, Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry.
M.Sc (Horticulture) - Total 7 seats of Floriculture Medicinal & Agronomical Plants, Plantation Corps & Processing, Pomology and Plant Harvest Technology, Vegetables & Spice Corps Course.
Age limit :
The minimum age limit for admission to M.Sc course in 23 years as on 01.01.2016
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must have passed Master Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture / M.Tech / M.Sc Food Tech from a recognized university with a Minimum OPGA 6.5 in 10 Point Grade and at least 60% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination. The minimum OGPA and marks for SC / ST / PWD candidates are 6.00 and 50% respectively. The candidates intending to apply for more than one module as mentioned in the guidelines for Entrance test shall have to submit separate applications
forms.
UBKV Ph.D Online Application Form 2016 & Applying Process
Application form has to submit online only on University website www.ubkv.ac.in on payment of Rs.600 for General & OBC category and Rs.150 for SC / ST candidates through Online and Offline Payment Mode. Only PWD candidate are exempt form paying Application Fees. Candidates will have to deposit the required application fee for each application seperatly. On selection of offline payment mode candidate will have to deposit the required application fee to any of the branches of United Bank of India. No application form with deposition of Fee will be consider . Details information and admission related notification are available in the University website. No Admission form will be issued from University counter. Sc / ST / OBC candidates of outside West Bengal treated as General Category.

The applicants have to upload scanned copies (both side) of the following Documents.
Passport size Photograph (Maximum size 20 kb).
Signature of candidates (Maximum 20 kb).
Secondary / Madhyamik Mark Sheet with self attested (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb).
Higher Secondary Mark Sheet with self Attested (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb).
UG examination Mark Sheet with Self Attested (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb).
UBKV Ph.D Entrance Admission Test 2016
The entrance test for admission to Ph.D (Agriculture) for Crop Protection module, Crop production module and M.Sc (Horticulture) will be held on 31.07.2016
The entrance test for admission to Social Science module , Basic science and M.Sc (Forestry) will be held on 31.07.2016. Before the Entrance Examination applicant required to Download UBKV M.Sc Admission Test Admit Card / Hall Ticket 2016. & M.Sc Merit List 2016 for Entrance Test.
Duration of test is 1 hours 30 marks. Total marks in Entrance Test in 100 marks, Examination question is 15 Question of 2 marks, 2 question of 5 marks & MCQ type 60 question of four alternatives each 1 marks. There will be no Negative marks for wrong answer. The syllabus for entrance test is available in the University website.

UBKV Ph.D. Merit List 2016 of Admission Test
The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Higher Secondary, B.Sc, M.Sc and Entrance Test.
M.Sc Entrance test will be conducted module wise Faculty of Agricultural from session 2016-17. There will be four module namely- Crop Production, Crop Protection, Social Science and Basic Science. Direct Link for Checking merit list is given below..
