Eligibility for Admission :
The students will be admitted to Certificate Course of Panchakarma Assistant, subject to fulfillment of the following conditions-
Candidates required age should be between 16 years to 30 years as on 30.07.2016. Relaxation of age should be applicable for SC & ST candidates up to 3 years.
Candidates is of good character to be certified by the Head of the Institution where he / she studied last.
Candidates is a permanent resident of West Bengal and has passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics from a recognized by the WBCHSE / ICSE / CBSE.

Duly filled in application form as per proforma should be reach the office of the - Principal Superintendent:, J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, 170-172 Raja Dinendra Street, Kolkata- 700004 by 07.07.2016 on or before 3 pm in a closed Envelop, super scribing " Application for admission into One Year Certificate Course of Panchakarma Assistant for the session 2016-2017." Application may be also be submitted personally between 11 am to 3 pm on all working days except Saturdays & Holidays to the above address on or before the closing date
Required Document with Application Form :
Copy of the Mark Sheet of HS (10+2) Examination or equivalent.
Copy of the Madhyamik Examination or equivalent Examination Pass Certificate.
Copy of the Age Proof (Admit Card of Class 10th Exam or Birth Certificate)
Copy of the Character Certificate by the Head of last attended institution.
Copy of Residential Certificate issued by Competent Authority (M.P / MLA / Gram Panchayat Prodhan / BDO / SDO etc).
Caste or PWD certificate (if candidates belonging SC / ST / PH category).

Selection Process :
Admission will be on Merit basic, Merit List for admission will be prepared on the basic of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Physics & Chemistry & mathematics, whichever if higher in the H.S (10+2) from CBSE / ICSE / WBCHSE. The merit list will be valid for 60 days only.
The list of provisional eligible candidates along with rules and regulation for admission will be available in the notice board , Swasthya Bhawan, Directorate of Ayurveda (6th Floor), Salt lake, Kolkata- 91 and office of the Principal Superintendent, J.B. Roy State Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, 170-172 Raja Dinendra Street, Kolkata- 700004 and in the official Website of the Department of Health & family Welfare, Government of West Bengal (www.wbhealth.gov.in) on 13.07.2016. No separate communication will be made in this regard.
Counselling :
Provisional selected candidates for counselling will have to appear at the Institute on the Specified date and Time when so called for , at their own expenses. Total number of seats 20 is available. Reservation of seats as per exiting rules of Government of West Bengal.
